1. SCOPE OF WARRANTY

ZITRO DesignLab, LLC (“ZITRO”) warrants, in favor of the original customer (“Client”), that:

• The furniture supplied and installed by ZITRO, originating from Caribbean Cabinets Products (CCP), is covered by a two (2) year manufacturing warranty offered directly by CCP, starting from the date of substantial installation.

• The installation performed by ZITRO is guaranteed for a period of two (2) years, counted from the date of substantial installation, against defects attributable exclusively to ZITRO’s workmanship.

• Hardware, accessories, appliances, and other components supplied by third parties shall only be covered by the individual warranties of their respective manufacturers, according to the terms and conditions they determine.

2. EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS

This warranty does NOT cover and ZITRO shall not be held liable for:

• Damages resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, inadequate maintenance, alterations, unauthorized repairs, or third-party installation.

• Normal wear and tear (including scratches, stains, natural discoloration, changes in tone of wood, laminates, finishes, or metals).

• Natural variations in materials such as wood, stone, laminates, and metals, including grains, textures, knots, slight color or sheen differences, which are inherent to their nature.

• Damages caused by environmental conditions beyond ZITRO’s control, including but not limited to: excessive humidity, leaks, mold, termites, insects, direct sunlight exposure, salinity, extreme temperatures, fire, earthquake, hurricane, flood, or any other act of God/force majeure.

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential costs, including loss of use, lost profits, delays, inconvenience, or damage to other areas of the home.

3. CLAIM REQUIREMENTS

To file a claim under this warranty, the Client must:

• Notify ZITRO in writing within the warranty period, describing the claimed defect and attaching photos and evidence.

• Present the original invoice and project documentation.

• Allow ZITRO reasonable access to evaluate the defect and perform the necessary repairs.

ZITRO shall have the exclusive option to repair, replace, or adjust the affected product. No cash refunds shall be issued, except where expressly required by law.

4. LIMITS OF LIABILITY

• This warranty is granted only to the original Client and is non-transferable.

• Under no circumstances shall ZITRO be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

• ZITRO’s maximum obligation under this warranty is limited to the original value of the affected product or installation.

5. RELATION TO OTHER WARRANTIES

• ZITRO acts as an authorized designer, distributor, and installer of the Caribbean Cabinets Products line but does not assume responsibility for manufacturing defects beyond what is covered by CCP’s official warranty.

• Accessories, hardware, faucets, and appliances are subject to the warranty policies of their respective manufacturers. The Client acknowledges that any claims must be made directly with such manufacturers, unless ZITRO, at its discretion, chooses to act as an intermediary.

6. WARRANTY VOIDANCE

This warranty will be automatically voided if:

• The furniture is modified, moved, tampered with, or reinstalled by unauthorized third parties.

• Non-recommended chemical or abrasive products are used for cleaning or maintenance.

• Instructions for use or maintenance provided by ZITRO are not followed.

• The Client fails to comply with the “Care and Maintenance Instructions” delivered by ZITRO DesignLab, which form an integral part of this warranty.

7. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This document shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Puerto Rico.

8. FINAL PROVISION

This warranty constitutes the sole express agreement between the Client and ZITRO regarding warranties and supersedes any other oral or written representation. No representative, employee, or third party is authorized to modify the terms stated herein.
